Hi, my ECG report says back ecg shows early repolarization in inferior leads My TMT test is negative for RMI My bp is 120/70 I am having crestor 5 mg for cholesterol. Kindly let me know what is this issue or if anything to be worried about. Thanks. A.L
Presence of early repolarization (ER) pattern in 12-lead ECG is a common finding in the general population, particularly in the inferior and precordial lateral leads.
It has been considered a marker of good health because it is more prevalent in athletes and younger persons.
Since your TMT test and blood pressure is normal, there is nothing to worry about.
Kindly continue the medications you have been taking and do the follow-up with your doctor as advised.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S,
